About us
In 1856 came Samuel Larsson and his wife Sofia to Bertshult. Today the family owned farm is driven by Lilian and Stig Samuelsson, together with their four sons, who makes up the 5th generation on the farm.
On the farm there’s always been worked with forestry and agriculture, and lately also contracting in similar areas.
Today the farm has 105 acres, where most of it is forrest. We work in the forrest with wood production, selling Christmas trees and making gift baskets in wood, we also chop wood. Besides that we produce potatoes, vegetables, fruit, egg, honey etc., all of which we also sell on the farm, in our shop.
In the farm shop we also sell sheepskin from our own sheep, apple juice from our own apple trees, homemade chili sauce, as well as lots of other delicious items that we both produce ourselves but also buy from Gunnarhögs Gård, Brunneby Musteri, Grimsis, Wästgötarna, GB Glace and Ensi.
Sammels Lantgård has had a café and catering business since 2005. Our café is open seasonally, and here we offer delicious homemade cakes and various food for lunch. We also offer lunches for smaller and larger groups to order, and cook for baptisms, weddings or other celebrations.
In 2014, we opened our visitors garden in the yard. Initially the visitors garden was located in an area between the house and the barn, but as the area became too small, the visitors garden grew out in all directions on the farm. In the visitors garden there is also a nursery garden.
On the farm there is also a carpentry, where various unique furniture, birdhouses and much more are being built. Everything can be built according to your wishes.
